This is a very cool stamp set as the stamps are reversible! One side gives you the detailed stamp and the other side gives you a solid image of the detailed side. The reversible feature gives you so much versatility—you can create layered effects, shadowed looks, or even mix and match colors for a unique design. Good news – this stamp set has also just been added as a FREE Sale-A-Bration item!! Spend $75 and you can earn this stamp set for free, but only til the end of February!!!
Here’s the cards I created for my Facebook live on Wednesday.
Card 1 – Start with Thick Basic White, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. Take a piece of Petunia Pop cardstock 4″ x 5 1/4″ and emboss with Forever Plaid embossing folder. Adhere to card. Cut a piece of Basic White 3″ x 4 1/4″ and stamp the tall leaves with solid image side in Lemon Lime Twist. Stamp solid flower image in Petunia Pop. Stamp leaves in Old Olive and Granny Apple Green. Adhere to card. Stamp detail flower in Petunia Pop on scrap Basic White and fussy cut with snips. Add to card with Dimensionals. Sentiment is from Memorable Blooms and stamped in Petunia Pop, cut with Nested Essentials Dies and adhered with Dimensionals. Add some Fresh Freesia embellishments from the Tinsel Gems Three-Pack.
I also made the same card in Melon Mambo. I embossed the Melon Mambo cardstock with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. Embellishments are from Sunny Day Iridescent Dots. Everything else is the same except where Petunia Pop is shown, substitute with Melon Mambo. Which one do you prefer?
Card 2 – Start with a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. On a piece of Balmy Blue 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″, randomly stamp the two largest leaves in Balmy Blue. Wrap a piece of Daffodil Delight 1/8″ Satin Ribbon around this piece before adhering to card. Die cut a piece of Basic White using the circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Stamp flower in Daffodil Delight and lightly colour with Daffodil Delight Light Blends; leaves are stamped in Granny Apple Green and lightly coloured with Granny Apple Green Light Blends. (Alternatively you could stamp the flower and leaves with the solid images which would colour them instead of using the Blends.) The sentiment is from the Day to Celebrate (Sale-A-Bration), stamped in Balmy Blue. Adhere circle to card with Dimensionals. I coloured three Iridescent Faceted Gems with Dark Daffodil Delight Blend and adhered to card.
