I can’t get enough of these adorable Darling Dinos! I am having so much fun playing with these guys. You get 3 different dinos with matching dies. There are 25 stamps and 16 dies in this bundle. This is a great bundle to create cards for kids, men, pretty much everybody! After colouring your dinos, you can add some glasses, party hats, bow ties, kissy lips and so much more to ensure your dinos are one of a kind.
Here’s a look at my 3 cards I have for you today. Don’t you agree these guys are just too stinkin’ cute!!!
Here’s a closer look at the cards along with how I made them.
Start with Basic White Thick cardstock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. Added layer of purple DSP 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ from Toadstool Gardens (free SAB product only til February 28). Stamp the dino, hat and 3 balloons in Memento Black on scrap Basic White. I coloured the Dino with Fresh Freesia, Poppy Parade and Mossy Meadow Blends. Hat was coloured with Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo Blends. Balloons were Balmy Blue, Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green. Use appropriate die to cut after colouring. Stamp footprints using Pecan Pie ink. Decide where the the dino will be placed and stamp the balloon strings in Memento Black. Then add the dino, hat and balloons with Dimensionals. Sentiment was stamped in Memento Black directly on the DSP.
Start with Basic White Thick cardstock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. Add layer of Balmy Blue DSP from Beautiful Brokeh, 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. Die cut a piece of Basic White using the second largest die from the Perennial Postage dies. With the grass stamp, stamp the grass along the bottom using Granny Apple Green ink. Stamp dinos on scrap Basic White with Memento Black ink. Colour the two dinos with Blends. I used Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green and Balmy Blue. Add Kissy Lips in Poppy Parade ink and glasses in Memento Black to the dino on the right side. Stamp the sentiment in Memento Black and where the opening is, add the other sentiment in Poppy Parade. Adhere your dinos to card with Dimensionals. Add some hearts in Poppy Parade. Adhere the white layer to card.
Start with Basic White Thick cardstock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. Add layer of DSP from Toadstool Gardens, 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. Stamp the dino, rocks, party hat and flower in Memento Black on scrap piece of Basic White. Colour with Blends and cut with appropriate dies. (I used Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green on the dino, Poppy Parade and Fresh Freesia on the hat, Gray Granite on the rocks and Daffodil Delight an Granny Apple Green on the flower.) I glued the rocks, popped the dino, hat and flower with Dimensionals and added some grass in Granny Apple Green to a piece of Basic White that measured 3″ x 4 1/4″, then glued to the card. The sentiment was stamped in Granny Apple Green on a leftover piece of DSP from the middle card and glued. It still looked like it needed something so I coloured 3 Iridescent Foil Gems with dark Granny Apple Green Blend and adhered to card.
