Cute Easter Card made with Easter Basket bundle

Today I’m sharing a cheerful Easter card that came together quickly using the Easter Basket stamp set and dies as well as some coordinating Designer Series Paper. The DSP with the colourful Easter eggs adds instant interest to the design as does the embossed layer.

I started with a base card of Shy Shamrock, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at
4 1/4″.

Embossed a piece of Pretty in Pink, 4″ x 5 1/4″, with the All In A Row embossing folder.

Added a strip of DSP to the embossed Pretty in Pink.

Added a piece of the Balmy Blue gingham ribbon where the DSP and embossed piece meet, then adhered to card.

Slid an extra piece of the ribbon through and tied in a knot.

Stamped the bunny, chick and carrot in Memento Black on scrap Basic White and die cut with coordinating dies.

Stamped sentiment in Shy Shamrock ink on scrap white and cut to fit.

Coloured bunny with Blends in Light Pretty in Pink plus a touch of Light Petal Pink for cheeks.

Coloured chick with Lemon Lolly Blends and a touch of Light Pumpkin Pie for the nose.

Carrot is coloured with Pumpkin Pie Blends and Old Olive Blends.

Added all pieces to card with Dimensionals.

Added some embellishments from the Easter Assortment for the finishing touch.

I stamped the other bunny from the set on the inside of my card.
