Easy Gift Card Holder

Today I’m sharing a quick and easy gift card holder!
These are always a big hit at my craft fairs — they sell out fast! You can easily change up the look by using different sentiments on the belly band and mixing and matching your cardstock colours and Designer Series Paper. And don’t forget — gift card holders aren’t just for Christmas! Make a few for birthdays, thank yous, and other celebrations too.

Here’s my directions on how to make the gift card holder.

Base: Cut Basic Black cardstock to 5″ × 7 1/4″. Score the long side at
1 3/4″ and 5 1/4″.

Designer Paper: Cut Modern Christmas DSP – top piece 4 3/4″ × 1 1/2″, bottom piece 4 3/4″ × 1 3/4″. Adhere both to the front panels.

Pocket: Add Tear & Tape along the outer edges of the bottom flap, then fold up and press to adhere the pocket inside.

Belly Band: Cut contrasting DSP to 1 1/4″ × 7 3/4″ and glue it onto Basic Black cardstock cut to 1 1/2″ × 8″. Wrap the band around the holder and secure it at the front with Tear & Tape.

Sentiment: Punch a 2″ Basic Black circle and a 1 3/4″ Basic White circle. Stamp your sentiment (I used “Merry and Bright” from the Traditional Labels stamp set) on the white circle, then layer it onto the black one. Adhere over the join on the belly band.

Inside Panel: Die cut a piece of Basic White using the 4th largest Textured Notes die. Stamp “Merry Christmas” from Bauble Blooms in black along the top. Add the “To:” and “From:” from Seasonal Tags beneath it. Slide this piece into the pocket where your gift card will go.
