Easy Note Cards and A Box

I had fun creating a set of note cards using the Layered Thoughts and Nature’s Symphony stamp sets. The designs are simple yet elegant, making them easy to mass-produce. I also made a coordinating box to hold the cards, turning them into a beautiful handmade gift set.

I used the Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes. The cards are already scored and measure 5″ x 3 1/2″ making the note cards even easier to put together.

I adhered some Summer Splash cardstock 4 1/2″ x 3″ to the note cards. I took a piece of Basic White, 4 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ and stamped a sentiment from the Layered Thoughts Stamp Set in Summer Splash ink. I also stamped the small leaf branch from Nature’s Symphony Stamp Set in Summer Splash, then I adhered to the note card. I repeated this with all 4 of the sentiments in the Layered Thoughts stamp set. I added some retired embellishments in Summer Splash, 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots.

Here’s a closer look at the 4 individual note cards. I did do an extra Happy Birthday for a set of 5 as you can never have enough birthday cards.

The box is also done in Summer Splash.
To make the box, start with a cardstock piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″.
Score along the 8 1/2″ side at 5/8″, 1 5/8″, 6 7/8″ and 7 7/8″
Score along the 11″ side at 2 5/8″, 3 5/8″, 7 3/8″ and 8 3/8″
Make tick marks at 6 3/4″ and 10″ on top and bottom.

The top of the box was decorated with a 4 7/8″ x 2 1/4″ piece of Basic White, then a layer of Summer Splash 4 3/4″ x 2 1/8″. I stamped a piece of Basic White 4 5/8″ x 2″ in Summer Splash ink with the large branch die from Nature’s Symphony. I had to stamp it twice to fit across, then I added to the top of the box. The box stays closed with a small magnet 8mm x 1mm Neodymium I purchased from Amazon.

I stamped the envelope on both sides in Summer Splash with the small leaf branch.
