Floral Charm Cards

I created this card with a Night of Navy base and layered it with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Designer Series Paper. I added a strip of Timid Tiger cardstock, embossed with the Mini Corrugated folder, for some fun texture. Next, I die cut a piece of Basic White using the 4th largest die from the Textured Notes set and adhered it to the card front. I cut a few leaves in Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, and Timid Tiger, then arranged and popped them up with Dimensionals for extra depth. The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy, die cut with Textured Notes dies, and also popped up with Dimensionals. To finish it off, I added three gems from the Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots for just the right touch of sparkle.

This pretty card starts with a Petunia Pop base, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. I added a 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer of Designer Series Paper for a pop of pattern. Both the Petunia Pop and Basic White center panels were die cut using the Textured Notes dies and layered onto the card front. The sentiment is stamped in coordinating Petunia Pop ink to tie it all together. I stamped the flowers in Memento Black on scraps of Basic White. Then, using a small acrylic block inked with Petunia Pop, I used a Blender Pen to colour the flowers, then added some Wink of Stella. The leaves got the same treatment using Mossy Meadow. After die cutting the flowers and leaves, I added them to the card with Dimensionals for a bit of lift. And of course, I couldn’t resist finishing it off with three Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots for a little sparkle!

Earlier, I had made this quick and simple card using Basic White, added a layer of Basic Black that was embossed with the Exposed Brick embossing folder. Added the largest stand alone (no stamp for this) die cut in Basic White and I die cut the sentiment in Basic White from the retired Wanted To Say dies.
