Frosty Fun with the Festive Friends Bundle

Today’s card features the adorable snowman from the Festive Friends bundle — and I couldn’t resist using a cool mix of Pretty Peacock and Shaded Spruce for a wintry feel. This bundle is just too cute, with the snowman, a cheeky little elf and of course Santa himself. The coordinating dies make it even better, with shapes to cut out all the festive friends, plus extras like trees, snowflakes, and more. Here’s a photo of my card.

The base card is Pretty Peacock, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. I added a layer of Basic White, 4″ x 5 1/4″. Add a strip of the Pretty Peacock DSP from Elegant Pine Snowflakes, 1″ x 5″.

The cheerful snowman is coloured with Pretty Peacock and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends, with a little Pumpkin Pie for his carrot nose. I used Shaded Spruce cardstock to cut the trees. The trees and snowman are added to the card with Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set, is stamped in Pretty Peacock, fussy-cut, and popped up with Dimensionals for a bit of dimension.

The background snowflakes were stamped off twice in Pretty Peacock using the Delicate Pines stamp set for a soft, frosted look.

To finish it off, I added a few Delightful Decorative Dots to the snowflakes for just the right touch of sparkle.
