Fun with the Silly Safari bundle

I can’t resist adorable and goofy animal stamp sets—and this bundle was at the very top of my wish list from the 2025–2026 Annual Catalogue! The critters are beyond cute and totally make me smile, and the sentiments are just as fantastic. Know a party animal or two? Of course you do. There’s a sentiment for that, Happy Birthday You Party Animal. This set’s got you covered with other gems like Super Proud of You, Welcome Baby, Hakuna Matata, Thank You, and more. Basically, if you’ve got people in your life, you’re going to need this set. Plus, the bundle comes with a 1 7/8” circle punch and who can’t use another circle punch?

Base card is Timid Tiger 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. With the 1 7/8″ circle punch from the bundle, I punched out 3 circles in Basic White. I stamped one animal in Memento Black on each of the 3 circles I cut out and then coloured with Blends. I added a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Basic White to the base card. I used a Timid Tiger, 4″ x 5 1/2″ from the 2025-2027 In Color DSP. I then cut 3 holes in it with the 1 7/8″ punch. I positioned the DSP layer where I wanted it and glued the animal circles into the holes so I would have proper placement. If you’re going to add a sentiment to the DSP, make sure you do this before adhering it to the card. (Don’t do it after like I did, lol) I added Dimensionals to the back of the DSP, but then I remembered the Foam Adhesive Sheets so grabbed them and cut pieces to fit, so much easier than adding a ton of Dimensionals.

I used Mossy Meadow for the base card, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. I added a layer of Basic White, 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. I stamped on a separate piece of Basic White 4″ x 5 1/2″. Leaves are stamped in Mossy Meadow, full strength, second strength and even some third strength. Giraffe is stamped in Memento Black and coloured with Darling Duckling and Pecan Pie Blends. I extended his (her?) neck a bit with a fine black marker as I wanted it a little longer. Sentiment is stamped in Mossy Meadow. Adhere layer to card.
