I knew I had to have this kit as soon as I saw it! Putting it together proved to be a little more challenging than I expected, and that was after watching two other videos on how to complete it. Now, I know hundreds of other people have had no difficulty putting this kit together so it could just be me!
First of all, a glue gun is recommended. One thing you should know about me is that glue guns and I do NOT get along, lol. I ended up with glue all over my desk and all over me. You know those long stringy pieces of glue that are super thin, well I had them all over me. But hey, its just glue and when it dries its pretty easy to pick off. So no biggie. I highly recommend using our silicone craft sheet to rest your glue gun on. Its heat resistant plus when the glue cools, it cleans up easy peasy. I still had great fun putting the kit together.
I did find that the glue dots that come with the kit were not that sticky and I ended up using my regular glue dots. For my FB live, I did use the kit glue dots but had an awful time getting the twine to stick to the dot. After I finished my live, I put the remaining ornaments together with the regular glue dots and it was so much easier. The directions were pretty easy to follow along. I hope you’ll give this kit a try as the ornaments are pretty cute and its a fun kit to make.
Here’s my finished ornaments. Looking pretty good don’t you think?
Watch my video below to see how I put them together.
