Simple Card with Products of the Month

Hello there! I have a simple card for you today showcasing December’s and January’s Product of the Month. If you’re not familiar with Product of the Month (POM), it is a Stampin’ Up! promotion centered around a special product release every month. You can purchase the POM for only $5 with a $100 order, one per customer. If you want more details about the POM, let me know.

Here’s the card I made. This style of card of one of my favourites and I use it quite often.

I started with a Night of Navy base, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″, then I cut 1″ off the side.

I added a layer of Basic White to the front of the card that measured
3 1/8″ x 5 3/8″, and a piece of Basic White 1 1/4″ x 5 3/8″ to the right side of the inside. I added a piece of the DSP from the True Blue Florals POM that measured 3″ x 5 1/4″ and a different DSP 1 1/8″ x 5 1/4″ to the side.

I cut a piece of Night of Navy and a piece of Basic White using the Stylish Shapes dies. Using Balmy Blue ink and the large leaf stamp from Nature’s Symphony, I stamped off once, then stamped on the square white piece. The sentiment is from Fabulous Sayings stamp set and is stamped in Night of Navy. I glued the two squares together and then added to the card with Dimensionals, taking care that it was positioned only on the left side of the card.

I stamped a leaf in Night of Navy on a piece of Basic White
2 3/4″ x 5 3/8″ and adhered to the inside of the card.

Lastly, I added some white embellishments from the Moody Palette Glossy Dots.
