I had so much fun creating cards using product from the Beautiful Gallery Suite. The Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper along with the “frame” die from the Gallery Blooms dies made creating these cards simple and elegant. Cut the DSP to fit inside the frame, add some cardstock, ribbon, sentiment and some embellishments and you’ve got yourself a beautiful card. The suite comes with everything you need and then some, like two stamp sets and two sets of dies, that beautiful DSP, embossing folder, Basic Beige ribbon and those elegant Pressed Flower Motifs embellishments.
This is what you get when you use the frame die from the Gallery Blooms, three pieces. So much fun to play with!
Here’s some of the cards I made.
I made two of the same card, changing up the Basic Beige frame with the Mossy Meadow frame. Both cards have the Mossy Meadow base. On the Basic Beige frame card, the sentiment (from the Beautiful Butterflies) was stamped right on the frame in Mossy Meadow. The sentiment, stamped in Mossy Meadow on Basic Beige, was added with Dimensionals on the Mossy Meadow frame card. Both cards have a small bow using the Basic Beige ribbon as well as some Pressed Flower Motifs embellishments. Which card is your favourite?
I also made two of these, changing the frame colour from Pecan Pie to Early Espresso. I did emboss the Early Espresso frame with the Damask Designs embossing folder although you can’t really see it on the photo. On the card with the Pecan Pie frame, the flowers were stamped in Pecan Pie on a piece of Basic Beige, coloured with Pecan Pie Blends for the leaves and Calypso Coral Blends for the flowers. The Early Espresso frame was stamped in Memento Black on Basic White and coloured with Old Olive Blends for the leaves and Timid Tiger Blends for the flowers. Both cards have a piece of Basic Beige ribbon (added with Dimensionals) and the sentiment from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set, was stamped in Early Espresso on Basic Beige. Some Pressed Flower Motifs embellishments were added to both cards. I prefer the Early Espresso frame as it matches better and the Timid Tiger flowers pop more. What do you think?
This card was made using Basic Beige as the background and the largest size frame die in Basic Black. The DSP was glued to the frame and adhered to the card with Dimensionals. Sentiment is from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set, stamped in Memento Black on Basic Beige.
I wanted more of a bright and fun card so I cut one set of frames in Pretty in Pink and one set in Summer Splash. (I said I used Shy Shamrock in my video but it should’ve been Summer Splash.) Layered them on a base card of Pretty in Pink. Stamped the flowers in Memento Black on a Basic White scrap. Coloured them with Pretty in Pink and Summer Splash Blends. Die cut with appropriate die and adhered with Dimensionals. Also added some Wink of Stella to the flowers. Sentiment is stamped in Memento Black and is from With You in Mind stamp set. Added some Antique Pearls.
