Today’s card is cute and easy! I used the Terrific Toadstools stamp set and coordinating punch. I also used the Toadstool Garden DSP that I got for free from Sale-A-Bration (spend $75 before tax and shipping and get a free item from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue). The toadstools stamp set is so cute and I love the matching DSP that was free so that makes it even more lovable.
I started with a base card in Pumpkin Pie, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. I took a piece of the striped paper from the Toadstool Garden DSP (free Sale-a-Bration product) 2″ x 5 1/2″ and adhered to the card. I cut a piece of Melon Mambo 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ and a piece of Basic White 2 1/2″ x 4″.
On a scrap piece of Basic White, I stamped the grass in Granny Apple Green, the large toadstool in Pumpkin Pie and the smaller toadstool in Melon Mambo. The toadstools were cut out with the coordinating punch. The grass was fussy cut and the toadstool stems are from the DSP and cut out with the punch.
On the Basic White 2 1/2″ x 4″ piece, I stamped the sentiment in Granny Apple Green at the top. The grass was glued to the bottom and trimmed at the sides with paper snips. The toadstools were added with mini dimensionals and the stems were then added using a long thin piece cut from the mini dimensionals, taking care not to make it too long as you need to glue the tip to the toadstool.
