You Are Remarkable Cards

I’ve got four fun and fabulous cards to show you today, all made with the You Are Remarkable stamp set! This set uses two-step stamping—first you stamp the outline of the flower, then you bring it to life with a splash of colour using a second stamp for the petals and stem. I’ve played with four different colours and four unique layouts—so now it’s your turn! Which colour makes you smile the most? And which layout would you love to make?

Let’s break them down a bit in more detail.

This is the card I demonstrated for my live video. It uses a Basic White Thick card, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. Cut 1″ off on the front. Add a layer of Timid Tiger from the 2025-2027 In Color DSP, 3″ x 5 1/4″ and a strip to the inside 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″. On a piece of Basic White 2″ x 4 1/2″, stamp flower outline in Memento Black, then stamp Timid Tiger for the flower, Granny Apple Green for the stem/leaves and Pecan Pie for the center of the flower. Stamp tiny bee in Memento Black and colour his body with a Daffodil Delight marker or Blend. Add Wink of Stella to the flower and the bee’s wings. Sentiment is stamped in Memento Black on scrap DSP that measures 1 1/2″ x 2 5/8″, glued to a piece of Timid Tiger cardstock 1 5/8″ x 2 3/4″. Adhere to card with Dimensionals taking care to add them on the left side only (or your card won’t open). Add Timid Tiger embellishments from the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.

For this card, start with Thick Basic White, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. Using the largest die from the Texture Notes, cut a piece of Strawberry Slush cardstock. With the second largest die cut a piece of Basic White. Stamp the flower outline and sentiment in Memento Black on the Basic White piece, add flower stamped in Strawberry Slush, stem/leaves in Granny Apple Green and Pecan Pie for the flower center. Stamp the tiny bee in Memento Black and colour body with Daffodil Delight marker or Blend. Add Wink of Stella to the flower and the bee’s wings. Glue Strawberry Slush layer to card and add Basic White layer with Dimensionals. Finish with 3 Strawberry Slush pearls from the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.

Start with Thick Basic White base, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. Add a piece of Darling Duckling from the 2025-2027 In Color DSP that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″. Stamp the flower outline in Memento Black on a piece of Basic White 2 1/2″ x 4 5/8″, and then add the flower stamped in Darling Duckling, the leaves stamped in Granny Apple Green and the center of the flower in Pecan Pie. The sentiment, stamped in Memento Black, is from the Simply Said stamp set. Add 3 Darling Duckling pearls from the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.

This card has a Highland Heather base, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. The 3 largest dies from the Textured Notes were used to cut the cardstock, the largest and third largest cut in Basic White. The second largest is cut in Highland Heather. Glue the largest white piece and the Highland Heather piece to card. On the smallest Basic White piece, stamp flower outline in Memento Black. Stamp flower in Highland Heather ink, the stem/leaves in Granny Apple Green ink and the flower center in Pecan Pie. The tiny bee is stamped in Memento Black, add some Daffodil Delight to the body with either a marker or Blend. Add Wink of Stella to flower and bee’s wings. Add this piece to card with Dimensionals. Sentiment is from Unbounded Love, stamped in Highland Heather, fussy cut and adhered with Dimensionals. I used one Dimensional on the left side of the sentiment and two Dimensionals on top of each other on the right side.
