Christmas Crew Reindeer Card

Today’s card features the cutest little reindeer from the Christmas Crew stamp set! 🦌🎄 I had lots of fun putting together this cheerful Christmas card during today’s Facebook Live. I decided to make him a Rudolph with a red nose. Here he is! Isn’t he just adorable?

I started with a Peaceful Pine card base and added a piece of striped DSP from the Creative Celebrations Mix & Match collection, cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″.

The reindeer was stamped in Memento Black and coloured with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. His nose was coloured with the Dark Real Red Blend, and his hooves were coloured with the Light Black Blend and the wording on the little sign was stamped in Peaceful Pine.

The trees were die cut from Peaceful Pine cardstock. I added a little Peaceful Pine Shimmer Brush to the trees for some extra sparkle.

The circle was cut from Basic White cardstock using the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I added a touch of Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend along the bottom of the circle for a subtle snowy effect and to help ground the reindeer and trees.

I then glued the circle directly to the card front. Everything else was popped up with Dimensionals to give the card a little extra depth.

The candy canes were stamped in Memento Black, die cut, and coloured with the Dark Real Red Blend, then a little wink of stella was added.

For the hot chocolate, I die cut the mug from Real Red cardstock and the cocoa from Crumb Cake cardstock. A little Wink of Stella was added to the cocoa for some extra shimmer.

And, of course, I couldn’t resist adding a few adhesive-backed snowflakes as the finishing touch! ❄️

Here’s a photo of my card I did earlier, the only difference is showing the reindeer with a black nose and I dotted the sign with a dark Real Red blend.
