Easy Card with Paradise Garden Bundle

Today’s card is pretty easy to create and features the new Paradise Garden bundle (available May 5). The Paradise Garden bundle is part of the Garden Poetry Suite, which includes pretty DSP, ribbon and embellishments. I wanted to use the 2026-2028 In Color of Hydrangea Hue (available May 5), so the DSP, ribbon and embellishments from the suite didn’t match. The Hydrangea Hue colour is absolutely beautiful, to me it’s a blend of periwinkle and lavender and I couldn’t wait to try it out.

I created my card with a multi layered base in Secret Sea, Hydrangea Hue and Basic White. I love the look of the layered base and don’t use it nearly enough. Let’s take a closer look at the details of this card.

I started with a base of Thick Basic White, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. Added a layer of Secret Sea 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″, then a layer of Hydrangea Hue 4″ x 5 1/4″, then a layer of Basic White 3 3/4″ x 5″ and another layer of Secret Sea 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″. Embossed a piece of 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ Basic White with the Garden Poetry Hybrid Embossing Folder, but without using the coordinating die. Added the embossed piece to the card.

On a scrap piece of Basic White, I stamped the flower from the Paradise Garden stamp set in Hydrangea Hue. Also stamped two sets of the large leaf stamp in Granny Apple Green. Die cut using the appropriate dies. Added to card with Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set, stamped in Hydrangea Hue and die cut with the small banner die from the Paradise Garden. Added to card with Dimensionals.

There are some new In Color Butterfly embellishments available May 5 so I added 3 of those to the card. Here’s a closer look at the butterflies on the card.

I took a piece of Basic White 4″ x 5 1/4″ and stamped a smaller flower from the bundle in Hydrangea Hue and then glued to the inside of the card.
