All Aflutter meets Bloom Bouquet

Today’s cards showcase two new items from the May 5 catalogue. All Aflutter stamp set and punch, along with the Bloom Bouquet Designer Series Paper. I created one card with the new In Color Hydrangea Hue and one in the new In Color Crisp Cantaloupe. I also did a monochromatic card in Hydrangea Hue. Which one is your favourite?

Let’s have a closer look at how I created these.

Both the Hydrangea Hue and Crisp Cantaloupe are the same card except for the colours, just sub Crisp Cantaloupe for the Hydrangea Hue.

Start with a 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ base card, scored at 4 1/4″. Add a layer of Basic White 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″, then a layer of the Bloom Bouquet DSP 4″ x 5 1/4″. Next add another layer of Basic White 3 1/8″ x 4 3/8″, then a layer of Hydrangea Hue 3″ x 4 1/4″ and finally a layer of Bloom Bouquet DSP 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″.

On a scrap piece of Basic White, stamp the butterflies in Memento Black. Colour with Hydrangea Hue Blends, Crisp Cantaloupe Blends and Golden Glow Blends. Punch out with the All Aflutter Punch. Add Wink of Stella to butterflies and then adhere to card with Dimensionals.

On a 3/4″ x 4″ piece of Hydrangea Hue cardstock, stamp the sentiment in Memento Black in the middle. Cut right side on an angle and then the left side leaving room to add the 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies embellishments (available May 5).

I used exactly the same dimensions for the monochromatic card, except the 3 1/8″ x 4 3/8″ Basic White was added to the card with Dimensionals. The butterflies were all coloured with Hydrangea Hue Blends and added to the card with adhesive.
