Elegant Cards with the Botanical Expressions Bundle

Some bundles are perfect for a specific season, while others become favourites all year long, and I think the Botanical Expressions Bundle falls into that category.

The gorgeous botanical die creates an elegant focal point with very little effort, and the versatile greetings make it easy to create cards for just about any occasion. Whether you need a thank you, a thinking of you, or a birthday card, this bundle has you covered.

During this week’s Facebook Live, I shared two cards using the Botanical Expressions Bundle, and today I’m excited to show you four different card ideas to inspire your own creativity. It’s amazing how changing the colours, papers, or layout can give the bundle a completely different look!

Whether you prefer clean and simple designs or enjoy adding a few extra layers and embellishments, this bundle offers endless possibilities.

CARD #1

Start with a Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock card base.

Die cut the Botanical Expressions die from Peaceful Pine cardstock and adhere it to the card front.

Stamp the butterflies in Peaceful Pine ink and colour them with Crisp Cantaloupe Stampin’ Blends. Add Wink of Stella for a touch of sparkle, then adhere the butterflies with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Die cut a circle using the third largest Stylish Shapes circle die. Stamp the sentiment from Phrases & Frames in Peaceful Pine ink and adhere it to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

CARD #2

Start with a Soft Sea Foam cardstock card base.

Leaving 1/2″ – 3/4″ at the top, die cut the Botanical Expressions on the front of your card base.

Die cut the Botanical Expressions die from Granny Apple Green cardstock, turn it upside down so the Soft Sea Foam branches do not match the Granny Apple Green ones, and adhere it to the top inside of card front.

Add a piece of Shaded Spruce to the top inside. The front of the card should show all 3 layers, Soft Sea Foam leaves, Granny Apple leaves and a solid piece of Shaded Spruce.

Die cut a circle using the third largest Stylish Shapes circle die. Stamp the sentiment from Phrases & Frames in Granny Apple ink or Shaded Spruce ink, sponge a bit of the ink around the edge of the circle, then adhere it to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, add some Granny Apple Green gems from the Shimmering Dots embellishments.

The sentiment on the card on the right was stamped in Shaded Spruce and the one on the left was stamped in Granny Apple Green. The vote during my FB live was Shaded Spruce. Which one do you like better?

CARDS 3 & 4 – Here’s a photo of my other 2 cards. The left one uses Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon. The right one uses Moonlit Flora DSP, some vellum and Berry Burst cardstock. (Thank you to Patty Bennett for her inspiration.)
