So not a crafting project today….a little bit of personal stuff….. Thursday, May 30, I was playing pickleball and stepped on the ball instead of hitting it. My ankle rolled over and I fell to the ground. Long story short, ambulance was called and xray results showed that I broke my ankle in two places. A soft cast was put on with instructions of absolutely no weight on that foot. I must say I got pretty good at hopping on one foot but truthfully it was difficult and painful. Thursday, June 4 I was back at the Fracture Clinic. They removed my cast and gave me a walking boot which is a whole lot better. I still have to use a walker to help take some weight off the ankle.
I can’t get to my craft room in the basement as unable to use stairs yet. Fortunately I had a bunch of Kits I hadn’t finished and some I hadn’t started. Hubby went in the basement and brought me up the boxes so at least I could craft for a bit, but not for too long as I had to keep elevating my foot. I’m taking this one day at a time.
