Pretty Cards with Framed Violets Bundle

I have a couple of pretty cards to share with you today using the Framed Violets bundle as well as Violet Dreams DSP. This is such a lovely suite and also includes ribbon and beautiful floral embellishments. Plus it comes with a sheet of precut blooms and leaves making it so easy to create cards and scrapbook pages. You won’t find this suite in any catalogue as it is part of our online exclusives effective July 1.

I have a fun fold card with two different cardstock base colours and side DSP, other than that they are the same. The only difference with the other two cards is where the sentiment is placed. Let’s have a closer look at my cards.

These two cards are the same, just the cardstock and some of the DSP is different. Instructions are the same for both.
Cut Secret Sea (Fresh Freesia) cardstock 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, fold at 4 1/4″.
Using your paper trimmer cut 1″ in from each side to the fold. See photo below.
Glue the two 1″ side strips down to the lower part of the base.
Cut and glue two DSP pieces, 4″x 3/4″, to each side.
Cut and glue a 3 1/4″ x 4″ floral piece to the middle front.
Add a 3 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White to the inside.
Using the precut Fresh Freesia oval, stamp sentiment to the left side in Secret Sea, adhere to card with Dimensionals.
With a Blending Brush and Fresh Freesia ink, blend on scrap piece of Basic White and die cut 3 flowers. Repeat process with Peaceful Pine and die cut 3 leaves. Using same colour Blends, add some colour to flowers and leaves.
Adhere flowers and leaves to oval piece. Add Blooms embellishments.
Add one flower and leaf to inside of card if desired.

Base card is Gorgeous Grape, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. Emboss a
4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White piece with the Paradis Garden 3D embossing folder and adhere to card. On a large scrap of Basic White stamp the oval in Gorgeous Grape and die cut. On another scrap piece of Basic White, stamp the 3 flowers and colour with Highland Heather and Peaceful Pine Blends. Die cut and adhere with Dimensionals. Stamp sentiment in Gorgeous Grape on scrap Basic White and cut the Happy and Birthday separately and adhere with Dimensionals.
